In Michaelmas and Lent terms, the Sedgwick Club hosts a series of weekly talks about different aspects of geology. The talks are generally held on Mondays, at 18:00, in Harker 1.
The Club hosts speakers from all branches of Earth Sciences, talking about subjects ranging from the front lines of geological research to the more philosophical aspects. The talks often conclude with snacks in the common room, where there is opportunity for informal discussion with the speaker.
